You will likely be busy eating turkey and papas today in honor of Thanksgiving, and perhaps watching American football, if that is your thing (p.s. Go Lions!). Here at The Goat Parade, we want to take a few moments to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving!
We've been around for less than a year, but in a short time, we've started to develop a readership, something we are very thankful for. This site does not exist without you, the reader, and we don't forget that. We really appreciate the comments, the feedback, good or bad, the retweets, the likes on Facebook. Providing this support makes the efforts to provide coverage on Chivas USA worthwhile. And if you haven't, let your friends and family know about the site too!
Continued after the jumpIf you are interested in writing about Chivas, whether it's something deep or minor, about a player or tactical formation, or of a fan's gameday experience, whatever you like - you're welcome to do so! One of the features of the site is that fans are able to provide material. Whether it's written or visual (like photos or video you've taken), you can provide FanPosts (for written contributions, of any length) or FanShots (short snippets, links, or photos). You'll see them on the right side of the page. Feel free to chip in if you have something on your mind, or want to share something with the community! The more the merrier. And if you have any questions about how to do it, let me know. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.
With that, back to your normally scheduled Thanksgiving indulgence. Enjoy the holiday!
