A quick post with some news developments:

First, the rumor we posted yesterday about French-Algerian striker Mohamed Dahmane looks like it is just a rumor. Adam Serrano reported today Robin Fraser's comments about Chivas' supposed new striker. Fraser is quoted as saying, "...I've never heard anything before, I don't know of a player like that." If that is the case, Chivas fans' quest to find the newest Goat starts over. Any ideas?

One other item to provide to those of you not in the know. Chivas USA is partnering with the Black Army 1850 and Union Ultras supporters' groups to hold Equality Night on Saturday for the match against Houston. Proceeds from select tickets will go to the L.A. Gay & Lesbian center, and there will be some special events before and after the match. Dan Kennedy has taped a special message for LGBT fans, as well, so there is some support from the team, although the information concerning Equality Night does not appear to be on the team website. You can get some more background information from this article and you can contact the Union Ultras or Black Army 1850 if you have any questions.
