Gamethread: Portland Timbers Vs. Chivas USA, 4/7/12

Time for the Chivas USA match! Tonight, they are up in the Rose City where they will face the Portland Timbers (7:30 pm PDT, KDOC/KWHY/Direct Kick/MLS Live). Both teams are coming off losses and looking to change their fortunes. It should be a hard-fought match, no matter the final scoreline, and it will be interesting to see which team (or both) gets points on the night.

If you missed the preview articles earlier this week, be sure to check them out. First, take a look at the Three Questions Exchange with Geoff Gibson in order to know the enemy. Then, I took a look back at Chivas loss last season in Portland, and mull over the psychological impact of a team trying to build a winning tradition.

Finally, there's the good old match preview.
