Chivas' Jazic called up for international friendly
Ante Jazic has been called up to the Canadian National Team for an international friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago on August 15th. The Wednesday game will be between a "home" match against the Galaxy and a second trip to Colorado.

Peter Nowak sues Philadelphia Union
What was once a great success story has become a tragic Greek opera. Any possibility of this ending peacefully has been foregone. Upon firing Nowak, the Union "alleged that Nowak created a hostile work environment, berating and intimidating other employees, and risked his players' safety by making them play while injured". Beyond that Nowak is accused of hazing, bullying and initiating physical confrontations with players and officials. What's amazing to me is Nowak is suing for breach of contract and not defamation. Nowak knows if this goes to trial all that stuff is going to be brought up. This might be the end of the line for the Polish international.
