Gamethread: Chivas USA Vs. Vancouver Whitecaps, 7/7/12

New, 50 comments

It's (finally) time for the game! Chivas USA host the Vancouver Whitecaps for the second time this season tonight (7:30 pm PDT, KDOC/KWHY). Both teams, as ever, are hungry to get a result in a tough Western Conference. Which team will prevail tonight? We'll find out soon enough, but hopefully for Chivas' sake, this result is better than last time around. Besides getting revenge on the Caps, Chivas will also be looking to get sharp ahead of Wednesday's crucial match, when they take on the Seattle Sounders in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal round. But first, we have tonight's match.

If you missed it, be sure to take a look at the match preview from this morning.

On to the lineups (after the jump):

Chivas USA starting XI: Dan Kennedy; Jorge Villafana, Rauwshan McKenzie, Danny Califf, James Riley; Ben Zemanski, Laurent Courtois, Nick LaBrocca, Paolo Cardozo; Juan Pablo Angel, Jose Correa
