Gamethread: RSL vs. Chivas USA, Oct. 23, 2013

Keep it here for the game!

Chivas USA plays their final away match of the season as they head to Sandy, Utah to face Real Salt Lake (6pm PST, TV: MLSLIVE, KWH, RADIO: W Radio 690 AM (Spanish only)).

RSL remains in the running for the Supporter's Shield though they would need some help in the form of the New York Red Bulls, Sporting Kansas City and the Portland Timbers losing their remaining fixtures.

As always, you can prepare for the match by reading our match preview. All time (25 matches), Chivas is 10-11-4 against Real Salt Lake. I found that to be surprising given Chivas USA's recent history against Real Salt Lake is not a pretty one.

Finally, Alicia addressed the elephant in the room: is there really a point in playing the final two games? Admittedly, I'm biased but I think it's a very compelling read.
