This year, the MLS All-Stars will take on Italian club AS Roma July 31 in Kansas City. Today, the ballots were released for the fan vote, which makes up a component of the roster for the All-Star game. Who made the cut for Chivas USA?
Goalkeeper: Dan Kennedy (duh)
Defenders: Bobby Burling, Mario de Luna
Midfielders: Eric Avila, Edgar Mejia
Forwards: Tristan Bowen
So...uh, Kennedy for ASG again, right?
Regardless of which Chivas USA players you think are deserving of a selection, the full ballot is available here. Online and text voting will remain open until July 2. You get to pick a goalkeeper and 10 outfield players, so feel free to pick who you think should take on Roma at Sporting Park. If Chivas get a selection again this season, it will be for the third year running, following the honor for Kennedy in 2012 and Nick LaBrocca and Heath Pearce in 2011. Still, Kennedy was only a coach's choice last year, so if you want to make sure your boy gets in, you need to vote!
