With a win or tie, Chivas USA can win the season series against FC Dallas in tonight's mid-week fixture (7:30pm PST, MLSLIVE).
Both sides are suffering in form with the the two conference basement dwellers combining for a net sum of seven points in their last twelve contests. FC Dallas is mired in an eleven match winless streak and has steadily seen their form diminish.
Both sides have bolstered their squad with an infusion of Latin American attackers. For Chivas, of course, it's been Erick Torres. Since coming over on loan from CD Guadaljara, Torres has scored or assisted in each goal Chivas USA has scored.
FC Dallas meanwhile also bolstered their attack signing Argentinean midfielder Mauro Diaz to a DP contract. Brazilian midfielder Erick has also broken into the team's first XI. Since Erick was placed in the lineup, FC Dallas has scored four goals on the heels of a month-long scoreless drought.
