Vote now for Erick "Cubo" Torres in the 2014 "Latino del Año" final

Only one more vote to land Cubo the title!

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Good news, as Chivas USA forward Erick "Cubo" Torres has advanced to the final of the 2014 "Latino del Año" contest on FutbolMLS.com. He defeated Waylon Francis in the quarterfinal round, and is now in the final four, with the winner taking all.

Cubo goes up against Vancouver Whitecaps playmaker (and likely MLS Newcomer of the Year winner) Pedro Morales, LA Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo, and Seattle Sounders midfielder Marco Pappa.

Pappa's been blowing the competition away to this point in this year's contest, probably due to a combination of the always-mighty Sounders voting bloc and Guatemalan fans, so Cubo's going to need a lot of help in order to take the title. And let's face it, against this group, Cubo's season stacks up pretty well.

So make sure to vote here, and do it before 11:59 pm PT on Monday, Nov. 17. Tell your friends, your family, your next door neighbor, it doesn't matter. Just make sure you vote for Cubo!
