Chivas USA forward Erick Torres has a goal that made it to the semifinal round of MLS Goal of the Year. In Group III of the semifinals, Cubo's volleyed golazo to defeat Real Salt Lake in June is in the running, and you need to vote now to make sure it makes it to the final.
I'm not going to lie, this is going to be a tough vote, with Cubo going up against the twin juggernaut voting blocs of the Seattle Sounders (Obafemi Martins' goal) and the Portland Timbers (Diego Valeri and Gaston Fernandez). Maybe Timbers fans will split their vote a bit, with two of their players in the running, but the point stands -- if Cubo's strike is to upset the field and move on, he's going to need a lot of help.
Don't delay in voting, since this poll closes 11:59 pm PT on Monday (Nov. 17). You can vote here, and please, make sure others vote for Torres by the time the poll closes as well. Let's see a Goat gets something to distinguish CUSA's final season.
