Chivas USA all-time appearances leader Dan Kennedy had one save (er...make that a double save) that was memorable beyond all the rest in 2014, and fortunately it was both nominated for MLS Save of the Year, and also advanced from the initial round to make it to the semifinals.
The memorable save, if you don't remember, was a double save against the LA Galaxy in the middle game of the Clasico Angelino this season. DK blocked both Landon Donovan's curling shot from the edge of the box, then recovered quickly to catch Marcelo Sarvas' point-blank header that looked destined for the open net.
If you want to see this save in the final round, you have to vote for it, of course. Go here, and get your votes in by 11:59 pm PT on Sunday, so don't delay or you may miss out.
Wouldn't it be nice to see Kennedy get an honor like Save of the Year while a Goat? The only way that happens is if you and your friends and family vote for him. Do it, do it now!
