It's time for the game! Chivas USA are in the Bay Area, where they'll face the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium (7:30 pm PT, MLS Live). The Goats are coming off a 2-1 loss last week to the Seattle Sounders, while the Quakes played to a scoreless draw last time out to the Colorado Rapids.
The obvious question is whether either side will get a win tonight. Between them, they only have one league win, that being Chivas' opening day win over Chicago. We're starting to hit a stretch in the season where we are moving beyond the "early" portion, and simply waiting for wins may not be a successful policy. Still, both teams will certainly feel they have an excellent shot at three points. Hopefully that translates to a good game, too (ok, a win by Chivas either way is really the bottom line).
