International Update: Marvin Chavez contributes assist, but Honduras lose 4-2 to Israel in friendly

That makes two losses in two friendlies, but at least Chavez impressed.

A goal each from Roger Espinoza and Carlo Costly weren't enough to lift Honduras to a win on Sunday night in their second World Cup warm-up friendly, this time losing 4-2 against Israel.

Honduras have shown they can score goals but have failed to defend in their tune-ups, conceding 4 goals, including an own goal, against Israel. Honduras fans should be a bit worried as time is running out to prepare for the World Cup with just one friendly left to play before heading to Brazil.

Now let's talk about our most recently signed Goat, Marvin Chavez, who was a bright spot for Los Catrachos. Playing the full game, the only thing Chavez failed to do was score a goal. He was all over the pitch with his superb speed, switching from left to right, chasing balls down, defending, pushing the attack and also contributed with an assist on Espinoza's goal. Even with the loss, it was a stellar performance from Chavez.

Make sure to catch Honduras' last friendly before going to Brazil, this Saturday vs. England at 1:40pm PT on beIn Sports.
