Week four of the USL season is in the books, and following local side Orange County Blues' first win of the season, comes recognition for a pair of their players.

Most notably, Swiss midfielder Didier Crettenand was named to the league's Team of the Week on Tuesday. Crettenand served as the Blues captain and scored the game-winning goal in their 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on Sunday afternoon.

Crettenand has hit the ground running so far this season, playing very well from the first game and serving as an instant leader on a rebuilt Blues side.

In addition, another Blues player, new defender Romeo Filipovic, was named to the USL Team of the Week bench. Filipovic, a 29-year-old Croatian-German who has extensive experience in European soccer, was making his debut for the Blues following the announcement of his signing last week.

The Blues are back in action on Saturday evening at home against Arizona United SC.
