Sunday was the two-year anniversary of the establishment of Los Angeles Football Club. As commemoration of the event, the club announced on social media that they have more than 10,000 Originals, or season ticket deposit holders, at present.

And co-owner and president Tom Penn was featured in a video at the Banc of California Stadium construction site, where he also brought up the 10,000 Originals figure.

The last figure released by the club on season tickets was 7,000, given by Henry Nguyen back in mid-July. At that time, Nguyen said the goal was to ultimately have 15,000 season ticket holders, with the stadium expected to hold about 20,000-22,000 spectators when completed. The current target for completion is 2018.
So getting 3,000 more season ticket deposits in about three and a half months is pretty good, and it looks like if all of the current deposits are converted into actual season tickets, finding another 5,000 in the next year or so is ambitious but achievable.
