Thanks to you, from Angels on Parade

Yes, you!

MLS: Playoffs-Toronto FC at New York City FC Derik Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

It is Thanksgiving, and it’s always a good time to reflect on the year that’s nearing an end. And it’s been an eventful year at Angels on Parade in many respects. Most notably, we rebranded our site this year, fully embracing a new black-and-gold color scheme and changing our logo and name to match our commitment as SB Nation’s LAFC blog. Thanks to all of you who have come to the site or remained loyal readers following our rebrand.

Thanks as well to Los Angeles Football Club for their access and help on various stories, and for allowing our site to cover some major events, including the crest unveiling in January, the stadium groundbreaking in August, and the second Black & Gold Rally earlier this month. Being included as part of the community surrounding the club has been tremendous, and we appreciate it every day. We also look forward to many, many more LAFC stories to cover over the next year and beyond!

Also, a hearty thank you to the Orange County Blues and USL for providing access at times this year and for not planning to fold or move the team (nervous laughter). The Blues had an entertaining season, thanks to everyone who read the coverage of the team. It seems like the start of a bigger era for the club is on the horizon, and we plan to be right there covering it every step of the way.

Thank you to the site contributors this year, including Jake Schwartz, Kyle Kepner, Stephen Brandt, Michele Tossani and Rob Usry. Their help in pushing out stories was greatly appreciated each and every time.

And of course, thanks to you, reader. Angels on Parade started a new era this year, but we don’t do this without you reading the posts and supporting us. If you like what you see here, please continue to read, tell your friends about us, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Happy Thanksgiving! Feel free to share what you’re thankful for below.
