The Orange County Blues began preseason training camp this week, and on Friday announced their first game action of 2016. They'll hit the road, going to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista to take on the Colorado Rapids Monday morning.
Unfortunately, the game will be a closed event with no spectators or media present, and no stream will be available. Given that it's a one-off friendly, not at one of the sites of a preseason tournament, it's not a huge surprise there won't be a stream, even though that would have been cool.

The game, while obviously played under preseason conditions for both sides, will be a solid opportunity for the Blues to test their mettle against MLS opposition. Both teams have made substantial changes from their 2015 rosters, and no one is going to really get carried away with any result. But it should be a good occasion nonetheless.
We'll fill you in with details of Monday's friendly. 2016 games are almost here!
