The Orange County Blues got back on the field on Wednesday for their latest preseason friendly, this time against Cal State Fullerton at Titan Stadium. The result was a 2-0 win, OC's first so far this preseason. Obviously preseason results don't mean anything, but it may be good for the team's preparation.
Gleaning the available material out there on the game, it is unknown who scored the first goal for the Blues, though it did come in the 25th minute, before Trevin Caesar scored the insurance tally in the second half on a penalty kick.
So that's what we've got on this game. The Blues' next big event this preseason will be a training expedition to Casa Grande, Arizona on Sunday, and they'll play NASL side Indy Eleven there on Monday. The competition should be a good test for the Blues, who are less than a month away from the start of the USL season.
We'll keep you posted on news and notes from the team in the meantime.
