The OC Blues have had two items of leaguewide attention the past couple days. On an individual level, midfielder Didier Crettenand elevated his USL Team of the Week bench selection from last week to a slot on the proper XI for this week, after he scored the winning goal in the Blues' first victory of the season, against San Antonio FC on Saturday. It looks like for the second season running, Crettenand is off to a hot start with the Blues. Congrats to him for the recognition.

In addition to the individual recognition for Crettenand, the Blues themselves got some recognition on Monday, as they entered the USL Power Rankings at No. 10. It's their first recognition in the Power Rankings, a new feature on the league's website this season, so this could be the start of a run up the standings and the Power Rankings, who knows. Their next chance to impress? Wednesday night against Portland Timbers 2 at Anteater Stadium.
