The Orange County Blues will have a contributor suspended for their upcoming game this weekend against Real Monarchs SLC, as USL announced earlier this week that forward Akwafei Ajeakwa was issued a two-game suspension following his red card last week against Arizona United SC.

Ajeakwa, one of two players this season in the league to pick up two red cards, was evidently given a second game for what USL termed "his intentional kick to an Arizona United SC player." So he won't be eligible again for a few weeks.

USL also announced a suspension for Blues' technical director/assistant coach Barry Venison for the game against Real Monarchs, but did not specify why he was issued the suspension.

Finally, Blues forward Trevin Caesar is sitting on four yellow cards for the season, and will be suspended after he picks up another one, whenever that comes.

We'll have more coverage of the Blues' game against Real Monarchs in the days to come.
