Los Angeles Football Club announced a deal with Delta Airlines and Aeromexico on Monday, making the companies the official airline partners for the team, which is scheduled to begin play in MLS in 2018.

In addition to promised fan experience and community engagement efforts, Delta and Aeromexico will also provide LAFC transportation to away games and other events.

“From day one, our two organizations have shared in a collective vision for and commitment to Los Angeles,” said LAFC club president Tom Penn in a team statement on the news. “We are proud to partner with an industry leader, and look forward to elevating the LAFC experience for both our fans and players with Delta and Aeromexico by our side.”

The partnership continues Delta and Aeromexico’s efforts to sponsor local sports teams and venues, which currently include the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, UCLA, Staples Center and Rose Bowl.
