Carlos Vela capped off his Real Sociedad career with style, scoring in his last game in a victory against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Sevilla had the chance to break through into the top four in La Liga, but went down in defeat 3-1 to Real Sociedad.
Vela had the cherry on top goal in the final minute of regulation for Sociedad’s first win in five league games. This was Vela’s 73rd goal in all competitions for Real Sociedad. The emotion was evident as his teammates all celebrated with him and he kissed the badge.

He now leaves to become the face of Los Angeles Football Club as they embark on their maiden voyage in MLS.
Vela earlier said he had some of the best moments of his life at Real Sociedad.
Vela will soon be in LA where he will train with the team as they prepare for the 2018 MLS season.
This was quite a send off for Vela from Real Sociedad, and hopefully he is able to hit the ground running when LAFC’s season kicks off next year.
