Yes, yes, it was only a pair of regular season games featuring two U-12 academy teams, but StubHub Center was the place to be for Los Angeles Football Club fans on Saturday.
LAFC’s academy team faced off against their LA Galaxy counterparts, playing two games and splitting them. The Galaxy took the first match 2-1, before LAFC won the second 3-0. Emmanuel Rodriguez scored a hat trick in LAFC’s win, while Landry Chisteckoff had the goal in the other game for the black-and-gold.
Here are some cool snapshots from the game:

Once again, remember the caveats that this was a pair of games between two U-12 academy teams, and that the results don’t count for Development Academy purposes in line with the age group. No need to get carried away here.
That said, it looked like the boys had plenty of support and it was a good time for all. Way to go!
