How to watch Reno 1868 FC vs. Orange County SC

Teams kick off 2017 USL campaigns in Nevada.

Orange County SC embark on the 2017 USL regular season on Saturday evening with the first of several road games, this one against USL expansion team Reno 1868 FC. It’s a new era for both teams, and it’s the first opportunity to pick up points on the season.

OCSC enter the Logan Pause era with a largely new roster and a new profile. The team is young, but they’re coming off a perfect preseason in which they won five games out of five. Is it a guarantee that they’ll hit the ground running in the regular season? Of course not, but it does seem like a good sign that they seem to have found chemistry as a group in the run-up to the season. We’ll see if they can make a good showing in what is admittedly a tough season opener.

Why so tough? Reno 1868 may be a brand-new team, but it’s a roster with quite a bit of USL and MLS experience, perhaps more actual game experience than Orange County. Add to that the occasion, as it’s the first competitive game for the team and it is at home, and they will be more than eager to grab a result, on top of the normal motivation.

Orange County SC’s preview for the game lists no injuries for the team, so expect the full compliment of players to be available for the match and what should be a first-choice lineup for Pause.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 0 points (0-0-0); Goal Difference: 0 (0/0); First game of the season

Reno 1868 FC: 0 points (0-0-0); Goal Difference: 0 (0/0); First game of the season

How to Watch Reno 1868 vs. Orange County SC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm PT in Reno. You can also watch it on the stream below or in USL’s matchcenter.
