Lionel Messi’s four-game suspension for Argentina was overturned by FIFA on appeal, meaning he will be able to play against Uruguay, Venezuela, and Peru in Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers. This could be crucial to Argentina qualifying for the World Cup in 2018, as they have won just one qualifying game without Messi on the field.
Cristiano Ronaldo is showing some signs of his age this season. He hasn’t scored quite as much this season (for him anyway), and he isn’t taking on defenders quite the way that he has in the past.
