Six people to face criminal charges over Hillsborough disaster
The Crown Prosecution Service has charged six people with offenses relating to the Hillsborough disaster, a tragedy in 1989 where 96 Liverpool fans were killed at an FA Cup semi-final. Hillsborough match commander David Duckenfield has been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence of 95 of those people. Others have been charged with misconduct in public office, acts to pervert the course of justice, and matters of health and safety at sports grounds. This is one of the first steps of finally reaching justice for the innocent lives lost that day, and although there is more that will be done, this has been a long time coming for those families.

Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois’ agent has come out and said that he has held talks with Spanish giants and Champions’ League winners Real Madrid, as talks for a new contract at Stamford Bridge have stalled, reportedly over the player’s wage demands. Real Madrid have been looking for a goalkeeper, being linked to AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Manchester United’s David De Gea, while Courtois reportedly wants double his current wage at Chelsea.

Man United's Anthony Martial says 'rumors are false' amid exit talk
Manchester United’s Anthony Martial has dismissed the rumors that he wants to leave the club this summer. After Louis Van Gaal brought him in for £36 million, and he was a regular in Van Gaal’s team, Martial has struggled to keep a spot in Jose Mourinho’s lineup. There were reports earlier this summer that Martial asked Mourinho if he could leave and Mourinho said he would not stand in his way, but Martial just took to Twitter and said that the rumors are false.
