You can bring your dog to Orange County SC’s game on Saturday

Orange County SC announced this week that Saturday’s game at Orange County Great Park against Portland Timbers 2 will be a “Bark in the Park” night, meaning you can bring your dog to the game.

Orange County isn’t the first sports team to do this promotion, with the LA Galaxy usually hosting a dog at the park night every season and Columbus Crew SC already hosting one at their stadium this season.

Angels on Parade reached out to a club spokesperson regarding details about the “Bark in the Park”. A club employee told the site that dogs do not cost extra to bring, and there will be special areas for the pets around the venue.

Presumably the rules of bringing a dog are common sense: Keep them on a leash, make sure they’re well-behaved pups and mind them during the game. Basically, if you can bring them to a restaurant patio that welcomes dogs and they don’t cause chaos, they’re probably good to go.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 5 pm PT. You can find tickets on Orange County SC’s website, and most likely at the gate tomorrow.
