How to watch Orange County SC vs. Portland Timbers 2

Dogs welcome as OC look for second win in as many weeks.

Orange County SC will aim to start a winning streak Saturday evening, as they host Portland Timbers 2 at Orange County Great Park for the teams’ second meeting of the 2017 USL season.

The scenario here is pretty straightforward: OC held on for the win last week, a wild 4-3 result over Seattle Sounders 2 after coming out of a three-week bye in league play. Now that they have that game under their belt, they can start to get back into a rhythm of playing each week.

On the other side, T2 have been absolutely hapless this season, losing 13 of 15 played and winning just one to date. Many of those games have been where bad luck comes to bite them, or a momentary lapse costs them a result. But they’re on a six-game losing streak, are rooted to the bottom of the Western Conference, and the bad beats seem to be piling up and fueling a lack of belief on the field.

So Orange County have to feel like they can win this game, and if they can take care of business, they should make another move up the standings with games still in hand on the rest of the West. Last week’s game was entertaining, but there is a sense that they were extremely fortunate to ultimately get a win considering they had a 3-0 lead very early and almost blew it completely. Plus, Timbers 2’s only win? On the road against Sacramento Republic. This team is bound to get another win at some point, and it will be up to Orange County to make sure it’s not at their expense.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 13 points (4-4-1), 13th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -2; Last five games: W-L-L-L-W

Portland Timbers 2: 4 points (1-13-1), 15th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -19; Last five games: L-L-L-L-L

How to Watch Orange County SC vs. T2: The game is scheduled to kick off at 5 pm PT at Orange County Great Park. You can watch it on the stream below or in USL’s matchcenter.
