Bob Bradley throws out first pitch at LA Dodgers game

MLB: San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The Bob Bradley promotional tour is in full force, as the new Los Angeles Football Club head coach, appointed earlier this week, is now making the public appearance rounds.

It was a fun one on Saturday, as Bradley got to throw out the first pitch at the LA Dodgers game. Decked out in a custom “BRADLEY 1” Dodgers jersey, the manager broke with usual tradition and wore an LAFC baseball cap in lieu of a Dodgers hat.

Of course, there’s substantial overlap between the ownership groups of the Dodgers and LAFC, Peter Guber and Magic Johnson among them.

So, how did Bradley do? Star pitcher Kenley Jansen was the backstop for the pitch, a former catcher himself, and Bradley was pretty close to the mark, certainly not destined to end up on blooper shows.

So yeah, this is some synergy at work to be sure, but no question LAFC was introduced to at least a few more sports fans at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, maybe a few more fans were picked up along the way for LAFC.
