The newcomer is making a real impact for OC.

Orange County SC had another win at the weekend, and once again, a player recognized by USL in their regular Team of the Week feature. This time, it was forward Irvin Parra, who got his second Team of the Week selection in as many weeks.

Parra had both assists in OCSC’s 2-1 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on Sunday, a must-win game for the Southern California side in their playoff hopes this season. Parra has been a breath of fresh air since his free transfer from Seattle Sounders 2 for personal reasons, with a goal and two assists in five appearances. With his help, Orange County are one spot outside of the playoffs with five games left in the regular season. The next one will be a tough one, as they hit the road to play league leaders Real Monarchs on Friday.

Either way, congratulations to Irvin for racking up the recognition, and here’s hoping the good form continues.
