Hector Bellerin scores late equalizer to rescue a point for Arsenal against Chelsea

Yet again this season Arsenal and Chelsea played to a draw. However this game was much more entertaining than the drab 0-0 affair at Stamford Bridge. Both teams had a number of chances, and unfortunately for their strikers, they both missed a lot of those chances. The goalies for each team were at the top of their games though, and kept the game scoreless in the first half. Jack Wilshere opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 63rd minute, getting free in the box and then slamming home a nice finish. A few minutes later the Blues were level, Eden Hazard converting a penalty after he was fouled in the box by Hector Bellerin. Chelsea then took the lead in the 84th minute, when Marcos Alonso scrambled free to knock home a cross. However Bellerin made amends for giving away a penalty by scoring off a great half volley in stoppage time. This was a thrilling game, however a draw does neither team any good, especially with how Manchester City are playing.

Orlando City sign Dom Dwyer to a 3-year extension

Orlando City have yet to make the playoffs since they joined MLS. They are remaking their roster, with the retirement of Kaká, and the blockbuster trade for Sacha Kljestan. They continued to make moves, announcing a new deal for Dom Dwyer, who Orlando City acquired in a trade last year. Dwyer is a proven scorer in MLS, and though he never quite got his footing with the team last year, Orlando City is banking on him to lead the line going forward.

Real Madrid’s answers to their struggles might require changing up the midfield

Rea Madrid have struggled this year after their magical season last year. Most recently they got worked by Barcelona in El Clasico. A lot of the focus has been on the forwards, with Karim Benzema being inconsistent, and Cristiano Ronaldo going through a sustained goal drought for much of the year. However, Lucas Navarrete of Managing Madrid thinks the solution for Real might be switching things up in the midfield.

Christian Pulisic shows off his skills on the hardwood

Our most prodigious soccer player in a long time isn’t limited to just being talented on the pitch. He clearly has some skills in basketball as well, and he showed these off at a Borussia Dortmund training facility. While Christian Pulisic isn’t quite Shaq, he’s shown he just might have a knack for this basketball thing as well.
