Do you remember the story of the boys soccer team in Thailand trapped in a cave, needing a dramatic rescue operation to escape?
Well, they’ve been on a world tour recently, and on Friday, Los Angeles Football Club welcomed them to their game against the Houston Dynamo at Banc of California Stadium.
The boys were honored at the stadium and got decked out with LAFC scarves in front of The 3252.
Welcome to Los Angeles!

The boys have been on a whirlwind tour of Los Angeles in recent days, going to Universal Studios, and of course going on The Ellen Show, where their curious jerseys evidently came from (ignore Zlatan sitting with them, I guess):
There was no story more captivating this summer than the Thai soccer team trapped in a cave. This Monday, they’re all here. pic.twitter.com/J6oQlFZBGG

They’ve also been to Argentina, where they played a friendly recently, and will be in LA for two weeks in total. Here’s hoping these kids are enjoying their trip, aren’t being exhausted by the attention, and get to have fun. Hopefully they’ll remember The Banc and the night made a good impression on them.
