Orange County SC remain atop the USL Western Conference after their big comeback win over Las Vegas Lights FC last week, and as a result of that performance, two players from the squad were recognized by the league.
Forward Michael Seaton, who came on in the second half of that game and spearheaded the comeback with two goals and an assist, was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 29. In addition, fellow forward Thomas Enevoldsen, who had two goals in the 5-3 win, was named to the Team of the Week bench.
Seaton and Enevoldsen have teamed up over the course of the season to become one of, if not the most potent forward tandem in the league. Enevoldsen has 19 goals and nine assists for the season, while Seaton has racked up 12 goals and six assists. Seaton missed time prior to the Vegas win with a shoulder injury, but if he’s back in business moving forward, Orange County could be a real force when the USL Cup Playoffs roll around.
Congrats to Michael and Thomas, and may the honors continue!
