Los Angeles Football Club racked up a 2-1-1 record in September, their slowest month in terms of fixtures since April, but still a decent month for the black-and-gold. They remain in third place in the Western Conference, on track for the playoffs and on 50 points overall for the season.
With another month in the books, it’s time to open the poll for Player of the Month for September. As always, all players who played competitive minutes in the month will be eligible for the poll. For a bit of guidance, if you’re looking for it, here are the players who won the respective Man of the Match polls from the month:
- Won 2-1 at Toronto FC: Carlos Vela
- Drew 1-1 vs. New England Revolution: Tyler Miller
- Won 2-0 vs. San Jose Earthquakes: Walker Zimmerman
- Lost 3-1 at Chicago Fire: Diego Rossi
