With Los Angeles Football Club back in winning ways over the weekend, recognition around MLS was bound to come, as forward Adama Diomande was named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 32, and defender Walker Zimmerman was on the Team of the Week bench.
No one was better.

Diomande had two goals in LAFC’s 3-0 road win over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday. It had been nearly three full months since the Norwegian had scored, so to see him back on the scoresheet could be a major boost for the black-and-gold in the final weeks of the regular season and on to the playoffs.
Zimmerman, meanwhile, helped LAFC keep a shutout against the Rapids, and he scored the winning goal, off a corner kick, his third goal from a corner kick in the last three games. If Zimmerman has truly found his scoring touch, watch out!
Congrats to Adama and Walker, and as ever, long may the wins and honors continue to pour in for LAFC.
