The Honduras National Team announced their latest roster on Thursday, and the new call-ups include Los Angeles Football Club goalkeeper Luis Lopez.
Honduras will play two friendlies in the November FIFA window, in Tegucigalpa against Central American rival Panama on Nov. 16, and against Chile in Temuco, Chile on Nov. 20.

Lopez, 25, returns to Los Catrachos after playing in the last international window for his country, a 1-1 friendly against United Arab Emirates last month in which he started.
It’s an interesting offseason on the club level for Lopez. After joining LAFC ahead of their debut season, Lopez was unable to play for the first several months due to injury, and in the end made a single appearance for the black-and-gold (unfortunately, it was LAFC’s first-ever home loss, although it seems coincidental on that count) in 2018.
A recent report claims Lopez is under contract to LAFC for 2019, and while anything could happen, Tyler Miller was the clear No. 1 for the club this year. Will Lopez get another chance to be the starter in MLS next year? Will he be on the move? Regardless, Honduras is happy to bring him back in, and these games give him a chance to get some game action with his offseason here.
