15th minute: Close call! LAFC nearly let an own goal in after Luis Silva’s header on a corner bounces off Laurent Ciman in the box, but it goes just wide. Still scoreless.
6th minute: Almost! Carlos Vela’s shot is saved near the line by Demar Phillips. So close to a dream start yet again for LAFC.

As expected, LAFC are using the same starting XI as they had last week, with Laurent Ciman the captain and Mark-Anthony Kaye retaining his spot in central midfield. Aaron Kovar is on the bench for his first game eligible.
