LAFC’s Vela, Rossi, Bradley all named to MLS Team of the Week

Los Angeles Football Club continue to be the talk of MLS following their 5-1 thrashing of Real Salt Lake, on the road, on Saturday.

For the second consecutive week, LAFC folks were named to the MLS Team of the Week. This time, forwards Diego Rossi and Carlos Vela made the XI, Bob Bradley was named Coach of the Week, and defender Steven Beitashour was on the Team of the Week bench.

Rossi had a performance for the ages, with two goals and three assists, while Vela notched a goal and an assist. Beitashour had two assists, and Bradley is being hailed as one of the best in MLS once again.

Perhaps the bittersweet part of all of this is that LAFC are now off for three weeks, between the international break and a bye in league play before facing the LA Galaxy on Mar. 31. Here’s hoping they can keep the hot form throughout the break.
