CARLOS VELA SCORED AGAINST THE LA GALAXY AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

It took just five minutes for Los Angeles Football Club to set the tone for the brand new “El Trafico“ rivalry, thanks to, who else? Carlos Vela.

After 5 minutes of possession and opening up space in the back line of the Galaxy defense, LAFC took advantage of yet another chance: Diego Rossi fed the ball to Carlos Vela, who sliced an INCREDIBLE STRIKE into the corner of the Galaxy net, for LAFC’s first-ever goal against their city rivals.

Not only is it a simply beautiful goal, but it sets the stage for the entire LAFC-LA Galaxy rivalry. LAFC wanted to come out and make a statement, and the fact that it took five minutes to go up in their biggest Derby match is a HUGE moment for the club.

And then he got another one!
