What you need to know for LAFC’s inaugural match.

Jake Schwartz

Full time: LAFC WIN! 1-0 over Seattle Sounders. What a game!

83rd minute: Red card! Tony Alfaro is sent off for Seattle after picking up two yellows in four minutes. It’s all happening!

65th minute: Will Bruin equalizes for Seattle, but goal is immediately called off for offside. Looks like the right call. Still 1-0 for LAFC, but Seattle are knocking on the door

Halftime: LAFC are up 1-0. The Sounders have settled in over the second half of the opening 45, and LAFC will need to regroup in order to keep the lead for another half. But still, a fantastic start for the new boys.

36th minute: Save! Laurent Ciman makes a likely goal-saving clearance on an open Harry Shipp in LAFC’s box. What a play from the Belgian.

13th minute: Tyler Miller makes an incredible save on Nouhou’s snap shot to preserve LAFC’s lead

11th minute: GOAL! Diego Rossi hits a golazo off a feed from Carlos Vela. What a start! 1-0

2nd minute: Latif Blessing with a diving header that goes off the post! So close to a dream start!

Pregame update: Huge news roughly 12 minutes from kickoff, as Walker Zimmerman is a late scratch, and Dejan Jakovic replaces him. That is really concerning.
