The hits just keep coming for Tyler Miller.

After leading Los Angeles Football Club to victory in their first ever game vs. the Seattle Sounders, Miller earned a lot of praise around the league for his performance.

He had some key saves, seven total, to preserve the three points, including a great diving stop on a shot by Nouhou Tolo just after LAFC took the lead, and then a good save in the second half off a Cristian Roldan header.

On Monday Miller was named to the MLS Team of the Week, as its goalie. His sparkling play means the honor was well deserved.

In truth there were a few players on LAFC that were deserving of making the team.

Carlos Vela, Laurent Ciman (who made the bench for team of the week), and Diego Rossi all had good games for the team.

In the end though it was Miller who made the cut this week.

Congrats to Tyler, and hopefully we will see more LAFC players on the Team of the Week soon.
