Orange County SC have signed former Swope Park Rangers standout Nansel Selbol to the squad after a strong season in 2017, the team announced on Thursday.

He made 55 appearances, scoring 10 goals with four assists during his two seasons in Kansas City. His strike against Seattle Sounders FC 2 last season earned the 2017 USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Year Award. He also collected the USL Goal of the Month award in June, July and August.

“Nansel is an exciting, dynamic player that will add another dimension to our front line with his creativity and speed,” said Orange County head coach Braeden Cloutier, on the team’s website. “He played a big part in the success of Swope Park the last couple of years. He has the ability to beat defenders off the dribble and create goals for not only himself, but his teammates as well.”

In the midst of his two seasons with Swope Park Rangers, he debuted with Sporting Kansas City and scored a goal against Trinidad & Tobago’s Central FC in the CONCACAF Champions League in 2016. He also helped them reach the USL Cup final two years in a row.
