Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino notch two goals and two assists each as Liverpool run riot at Anfield

Liverpool ran Roma off the park through most of this game, going up 5-0 at one point before Roma got two late goals for a final score of 5-2 on Tuesday. The star of the show again has been the star of the season, Mohamed Salah. Salah scored the first two goals, the first one a tremendous curled effort into the top corner, the second a nice chip after Salah was played through by Roberto Firmino. Salah then grabbed two assists, getting in behind and then playing balls into the box that were finished off by Sadio Mane and Firmino. Liverpool were up to five goals before Roma grabbed two late goals. This was a dominant performance by Liverpool, but with those two goals. Roma just left the door open for another stunning comeback. But lightning couldn’t strike twice for Roma.... could it?

Toronto face a tough but winnable game in the second leg vs Chivas

Riding high after defeating Tigres and Club America to make the Concacaf Champions League final, Toronto FC were pegged back last week after they lost at home 2-1 to Chivas in the first leg of this final.
