With another win for Los Angeles Football Club, another recognition came rolling in for the team this week, as defender and captain Laurent Ciman was selected to his second MLS Team of the Week this season:

This is the first time Ciman is in the Team of the Week first XI, as he was a bench option in Week 1, also a win over the Seattle Sounders.
Ciman scored the game-winner on Sunday in the first home game for LAFC, a 93rd-minute free kick, his second such goal in as many weeks. To put that in context, the central defender had never previously scored on a free kick in MLS and only had two goals in his three seasons with the Montreal Impact.
Congrats to Laurent on the recognition, and as we keep saying, long may it continue. It just doesn’t get old.
