Vote: LAFC Man of the Match vs. Minnesota United

Which player stood out in a midweek win?

MLS: Minnesota United FC at Los Angeles FC Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Football Club kept their unbeaten streak rolling, after winning 2-0 over Minnesota United FC on Wednesday at Banc of California Stadium.

So it’s that time again: Which player was Man of the Match for LAFC?

Angels on Parade staff nominated the following players:

Eduard Atuesta: The Colombian youngster opened his LAFC account with the winning goal and led the team in shots on goal for the night. Not too shabby for a player expected to be more of a lockdown defensive midfielder.

Latif Blessing: Had the hustle play of the game, as his flick-on header for the second goal off a deflected cross that looped into the air pretty much clowned Minnesota United captain Francisco Calvo. Another strong shift overall for the attacker.

Mark-Anthony Kaye: Opened his LAFC account with a volley goal. It was the culmination of a strong game for the Canadian, who appears to be fighting his hardest to maintain his starting spot (and is succeeding).

Carlos Vela: Another classy display from the Mexican, who tallied an assist on Atuesta’s goal and kept the Minnesota United defense in fits throughout.
