Los Angeles Football Club picked up a point on Saturday, as they went down to 10 men and played to a 1-1 stalemate against D.C. United. It was an up-and-down night for the home side, but that’s typically how it goes for draws.
It’s that time again, of course, to select the LAFC Man of the Match from this one. The nominees were selected by Angels on Parade staff:
- Mark-Anthony Kaye: Indirectly set up LAFC’s goal and had several close calls in attack, while continuing to mature in his box-to-box role.
- Tyler Miller: Could do nothing on the goal, as his defense did not body up well enough, and had a crucial double-save in the first half to ensure a point.
- Diego Rossi: Emerged from his mini-slump with LAFC’s only goal on the night, and was LAFC’s most consistent scoring option in the match.
