Well, that was a tough game. Los Angeles Football Club went down two goals, picked up a late red card, but did get a new signing on the board and tried to rally. In the end, it wasn’t enough, as LAFC lost 2-1 at FC Dallas on Saturday night.
As always, it’s time for the postgame Man of the Match poll. Even though it was a loss, there were some bright spots on the night. So we need your help to determine which player was most impactful (in a positive way) on the night.
The nominees, as determined by Angels on Parade staff:
- Adama Diomande: After coming off the bench, scored his first goal for LAFC, in impressive fashion, to give the visitors a lifeline in the match. Hopefully it will be the first of many.
- Benny Feilhaber: Set up Diomande’s goal and put in a battling two-way shift for LAFC.
- Tyler Miller: Made five saves to keep LAFC in the game. While the goalkeeper has had a few shaky moments, can’t be held responsible for either goal he conceded in this match.
- Diego Rossi: Shouldered the burden of being the attacking focal point with Carlos Vela out. Couldn’t get on the scoresheet but was active early in trying to grab a lead on the road.
