How to Watch LAFC vs. Columbus Crew SC: Lineups, game thread

Can LAFC grab a good result against one of the Eastern Conference’s best?

MLS: U.S. Open Cup-Los Angeles FC vs Sacramento Republic FC Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

This is the LAFC lineup tonight:

Here’s Columbus’ lineup:

Los Angeles Football Club will look to make it two wins this week in all competitions, as they host Columbus Crew SC for the first (and hopefully not only) time on Saturday night.

Columbus have been one of the better teams in MLS so far this season, and so aren’t to be taken lightly. But they are on a four-game winless streak in MLS regular season play, and are probably getting anxious to get back in the win column. LAFC, meanwhile, are aiming to win three in a row across all competitions, after two last-minute wins, against the San Jose Earthquakes two weeks ago in league play and over Sacramento Republic FC in the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday.

Laurent Ciman is not a guarantee, but probably a good bet to be back in the lineup after he was the last cut from Belgium’s World Cup squad. Considering the danger of Columbus’ attack, his possible inclusion in the lineup could be a big boost for an LAFC defense that has been pretty leaky, especially of late.

How to Watch LAFC vs. Columbus Crew SC:

The match broadcast starts at 7:30 pm PT. Kickoff will likely be around 7:07 pm. The game will be on YouTube TV and UniMás 46/KFTR in the Los Angeles blackout region, otherwise it will be on ESPN+.
