On Monday, we got confirmation that Urena would travel to Russia for the World Cup with Costa Rica, as he posted some pictures on Twitter of he and his teammates boarding the plane.

The striker has made 62 appearances for Costa Rica dating back to 2009, scoring 15 goals in the process, tied for third-most in the group with Joel Campbell, behind midfielder Celso Borges (21) and Captain Bryan Ruiz (29).
Urena has been out of action for LAFC since he suffered a facial fracture in their April 29th match against the Seattle Sounders, which required surgery that was projected to take around a month to recover from. The good news is that it appears he has recovered and looks ready to play for Costa Rica in their World Cup campaign.
Costa Rica will play in Group E, against Brazil, Switzerland, and Serbia.
