Los Angeles Football Club posted their second 4-1 home win in a row, the latest coming on Saturday over Orlando City SC. In the first meeting between the teams, LAFC raced out to a lead, only for Orlando to cut their deficit in half, both teams had goals chalked off, and then the home side extended their lead late to seal the victory.
With that, it’s time to open up the polls on LAFC Man of the Match for the game. Here are the nominees, as decided by Angels on Parade staff:
- Latif Blessing: Scored a goal and an assist as he continued a stellar run, of three consecutive league games with a goal.
- Adama Diomande: Two more goals for Dio, bringing his total so far in league play to nine in seven games. Had two other goals chalked off, so he was active throughout, and his finish on the last one was a thing of beauty and guile.
- Mark-Anthony Kaye: Also continued his strong week with two assists. The Canadian now has a goal or assist in three straight games.
- Tyler Miller: The goals may have taken the spotlight for LAFC, but Miller came up huge, racking up eight saves to preserve LAFC’s lead.
Now, go vote and spread the word!
